According to Fox News, published on August 9, 2021, the Dixie Fire became the largest single California wildfire in state history. The fire burned through 5 counties in northern California, consuming over 482,000 acres of land, including a small town called Greenville which is known as a historic Gold Rush town.
After the fire, then came the flood in the same area in late October. This caused several landslides—one of the landslides covered over completely a portion of California Highway 70 that was filled with large rocks and debris. At the time of this report, Highway 70 still has a road closure from Jarbo Gap in Butte County to Greenville in Plumas County, according to Caltrans. The Oroville Dam is located in Butte County, California. Oro is a Spanish word for gold. Oroville is the county seat of Butte County.
Not only was the Dixie fire the largest recorded fire, but the rainfall this past October broke the previous record of rainfall in Northern California since 1880, according to the LA Times.
The largest fire and the greatest rainfall in many years in the Gold Rush/motherlode region of California… Could this be a prophetic sign?
Psalm 66:12 in the Amplified Version says, “You made men (charioteers) ride over our heads [in defeat]; We went through fire and through water, Yet You brought us out into a [broad] place of abundance [to be refreshed].
Have you felt like you have been walked over? The Lord says to His people who are afflicted, “I will place the cup of My wrath into the hands of your tormentors, Who have said to you, ‘Lie down that we may walk over you.’ You have even made your back like the ground And like the street for those who walk over it (Isaiah 51:23-24).”
You may feel like you’ve gone through the fire and the flood, but the Lord is bringing you into a place of abundance.
Prophet Johnny Enlow gave a word of the Lord on October 29, 2021: “Here is what I am about to do,” says the Lord. “I am coming in as Haggai saw me in Haggai 2. I am going to shake everything that can be shaken and it will all be for the good. The silver and the gold are Mine and I am the desire of the nations, and you are going to understand this better in the coming days. I have allowed many unacceptable things for a very long time, but now it all changes. I am coming in as the rescuer of the nations and I will do just that. This present war has been very intense and very trying, and you have captured My attention and My heart with your courage and with your resolve. I have seen and am seeing the fire you are walking through. With what I am about to do, not even the smell of smoke will remain on you. I will wipe away tears and I will also release great joy.”
