Did you know that tonight, on Sunday, May 15th into the early hours of Monday, May 16th, is a blood moon? According to Forbes, it is being called a “supermoon.” This blood moon also has a twin that will occur in November 2022 and is the first of two of the most “balanced” lunar eclipses for four centuries.
Such an unusual thing to have 2 of these blood moons in 2022. Isaiah 61:7 says, “For your shame YOU SHALL HAVE DOUBLE; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall POSSESS THE DOUBLE: everlasting joy shall be unto them.”
Forbes continues to state that the “supermoon” nature of this moon will cause a very high and a very low spring tide, which is also called “The King’s Tide.” This tide brings a threat of flooding to coastal areas. Notice again that Isaiah 21:25 says that the sea and waves will roar. Joel 3:16 says, “The LORD also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the LORD will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel.”
The blood supermoon twin –a balanced pair of lunar eclipses– is highly unusual, happening only once in every 430 years, according to Timeanddate.com. Exodus 12:40-41 says, “Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. At the end of the four hundred and thirty years, to that very day, all the hosts of the LORD [gathered into tribal armies and] left the land of Egypt.” Say Good-Bye to Egypt and your days of slavery, toil and hardship! You are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb!
The totality of this supermoon will be long and dark, lasting 84 minutes. Did you know the 9th plague in Egypt before the deliverance of the Israelites was darkness? Exodus 10:22-23 says, “So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.” A headline from The Loop stated, “Head Outside at 11:11 on Sunday for great view of total lunar eclipse.” This Blood Moon was given a time stamp of 11:11. 84 minutes is the duration of the totality and 11 marks the time. Psalm 84:11 states, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
Forbes states that this Blood Moon will shine against the backdrop of the stars of the constellation of Libra “the scales.” God is weighing the scales. Daniel 5:27 says, ‘TEKEL’—YOU HAVE BEEN WEIGHED ON THE SCALES [OF RIGHTEOUSNESS] AND FOUND WANTING OR DEFICIENT. This is a time to be dressed in the Lord’s righteousness for our own righteousness is like a filthy rag (Isaiah 64:6) but we have been given the gift of righteousness by which we reign in this life through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17)!
Seek the Lord, look up, for His redemption for this generation, for our families and loved ones is upon us as God judges His enemies that are in our land.
Also, this supermoon will appear 7% larger. Take this as a sign that the Lord is restoring 7 times what the enemy has stolen from you (Proverbs 6:31)!
