EXCERPTS ABOUT THE MONTH OF CHESHVAN ARE FROM CHUCK PIERCE’S BOOK, “A TIME TO ADVANCE.”

We have just entered into a new Hebrew month called Cheshvan.  Cheshvan is attached to the tribe of Manasseh.  Joseph named his firstborn son Manasseh, for he said, “God has made me forget all my trouble and hardship and all [the sorrow of the loss of] my father’s household (Genesis 41:51 AMP).”

Cheshvan is the 8th month of the Hebrew calendar which means new beginnings.

Isaiah 43:19 NKJV says, “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?  I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”

“Therefore, do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old (Isaiah 43:18).”  In other words, remember the faithfulness of God in your past seasons, but do not repeat and meditate on the memories of trouble, hardship, toil, sorrow and loss.  Joseph experienced many losses and hardship, but he named his firstborn son Manasseh to remind him to forget the painful part of his past.

In a month of new beginnings, God is saying—Develop forward vision.  Look, seek and expect for the new thing that God is doing with you, your families and gatherings.  Look for the road to appear in your wilderness.  Look for refreshing and new provision in spite of your dry and barren places.

As you press into the new that God has for you, a new anointing will be pressed out of you to overcome the adversary.  Cheshvan is connected to the constellation of Scorpio.  Scorpions and serpents represent the demonic realm.  Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

As you war for the new God has for you, a new anointing within you will be pressed out of you and you will tread down all power of the enemy and nothing will harm you!

Prophet Charlie Shamp posted this word today: “You are stepping into days of flourishing; the era of dryness is over!”
